How things have changed. When we first launched this site last year, Vodka Bar was one of our beloved destinations. As we said, ‘No club better encapsulates Kiev’s emerging trailer trash, Vice Magaziney vibes than this insane, vodka-fuelled hotspot’. Things have gone rapidly downhill since then. The club has become a sleazy terrarium for horny Turks, and cheap Ukie grrls for whom some free kalyan and swarthy men is the closest they’re going to get to the Turkish Riviera. The music’s also gone downhill, with mainstream pop and Alejandro remixes numbing the senses.
