This bi-level funhouse just behind the Opera House has an inflated reputation among the city’s expats who rave about the club’s quality of ‘takeout’. It’s not the sushi they’re talking about, which is indeed some of the most succulent in the city, but the grllls, who can be taken back home for a ‘price’. That ‘price’ is indeed quite reasonable, and it’s the fact that Rio doubles both as a stripbar-and whorehouse-that makes it irresistible for many. The club’s appeal is also in its cosy red booths and swivel chairs in the ante area, which look onto the gyrations of some of Kiev’s finest beauties. Great place to  lap out on a quiet weekday night.
