This modern  Isreali-owned salad/sandwich restaurant has spawned branches across Kiev as the city’s trendsetters embrace a healthier diet. The first outpost off Kiev’s Krasnoarmeyskaya Street set the tone for the rest with its fresh salads served in white ceramic bowls, roast beef sandwiches made from a choice of breads, including whole wheat, and fresh juices. Its outdoor terrace during the warm months soon became a hive for Kiev’s health-conscious glamoramas: models, showbiz types, fashionistas, embassy staff, and a smattering of the rest. The restaurant chain’s simple yet elegant formula of fresh, green foods, reasonable prices, and modernist interior, seems set to spawn imitators in the coming months as the city’s vibe becomes more European. There are now three Aromas in Kiev, including one opposite the Parus Business Center, which has proved popular with the yuppies there.
